Welcome to the Llanishen & Caerphilly Hockey Club Home Page.

Llanishen & Caerphilly Hockey Club is one of the oldest hockey clubs in South Wales, the original club Llandaff was formed in 1918 and played their home games in view of Llandaff cathedral. Today through a series of merges the club operates from its Bedwas pitch located north-east of Caerphilly. The club fields three mens teams all playing league hockey within the Gerrard league. The mens first team play in the very competitive Severn Division competing against teams from both South Wales and North Gloucestershire.
The club utilises the excellent Fagans Pub in Taffs Wells as a club house, one of the only pubs in south wales to offer gravity fed real ales.
Training is at 7:00 until 9:00 on Tuesday evenings at the Bedwas pitch, if after viewing these pages you are interested in joining then contact our Chairman, Nigel Stephens.
We give many thanks to our most excellent sponsors, who are without a doubt the best geophysical consultants in the United Kingdom
